Hypogonadism is an underdiagnosed syndrome with links to age, obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and metabolic syndromes. This activity will help clinicians with appropriate screening, diagnosis, and available testosterone supplemental therapies.
One of every two Caucasian women in the United States will have an osteoporotic fracture in their lifetime; one out of every 5 men in the United States will have an osteoporotic fracture in their lifetime. This activity will educate the participant on the updated guidelines to assess patients in proper diagnosis and management of osteoporosis.

Primary care clinicians frequently encounter these chronic conditions and are expected to manage them routinely in daily practice. Tools, techniques, and strategies to overcome the barriers to effective management of these chronic conditions will be discussed in this Education Station™ activity.
Sexual Health: Communicate, Inquire, and Promote. Healthy People 2020 identify Reproduction and Sexual Health as a leading health indicator. Leading health indicators, or high priority health issues, list objectives to improve the health of the US population. Providers and healthcare organizations are encouraged to implement these objectives in their practice in order to meet these health care goals for the nation.
Hiking for My Life. I filled my fluorescent-yellow Nalgene water bottle at the drinking fountain at Happy Isles at the west end of Yosemite Valley last August 28, then screwed its top on tight. I clipped it to the waist belt of my 50-pound orange backpack and pivoted toward the trailhead. The thought flashed through my mind that I probably shouldn’t be doing this.
